Things you should never say in marriage “You always do this..”

“You never do this” 💘 👰‍♀️ 🤵‍♂️

💎 Marriage should be an umbrella where two people weather the storms together, not a place to accuse, assume or find any place for self. If you see your spouse the way Christ sees them, you will have much more patience in your speech, mercy as they are growing, and an endless flow of forgiveness.

💎When we have a list of what our spouse “never does” for us we are proving that we are still self focused and not able to serve them with a grateful heart. (Galatians 5:13)

💎When we have a list of what our spouse “always does”, we have no room for true forgiveness in our hearts. Love holds no record of wrongs, so when you do this you are proving that you are not truly loving them the way God calls you to.

💎Marriage needs to be a sign to the world that revival is truly taking place among us. When families can get in order, there is true change in the church.There is a miracle of unity taking place on his church right now, where God wants to restore, strengthen and birth true love in family. Our job is to get rid of our “lists” and surrender any places where we have allowed hurt to dictate the way we serve and love one another. (1 John 4:7)

💎What would happen if you chose to see the best in them today despite what you feel? (1 cor 13:7)

💎What would happen if you forgave all the hurt and let go of your list of all that has been done against you?

💎What would happen if you said “God instead of complaining about my marriage I’m going to start speaking life over it”? (Ezekiel 37)

💎What if you took things to prayer instead of taking them out on your spouse ? (Phillipians 4:6)

💎Be a place of peace to your spouse and not nagging or contention. (Ephesians 5)

There’s a great revival happening in this place but the choice is up to you. Weather the storm together, choose to believe together, and watch what God will do.

God can move mountains but if you truly believe this, then do what he’s asking you to do!
