Travel delay leads to woman being born again

We thought we were headed on a plane but instead we were invited into a home where this woman got born again! We were scheduled to leave cali And through a series of events with car rental issues and money holds, we were seemingly left with no options, but God had a plan.

We were invited into the home of our new friend, Syndy who took us in to her home after the mess of events and we began to wait on God and ask Him for opportunities in this time of waiting and He certainly delivered. He moved our eyes away from trying to figure it out, to being readily available to be used by Him. We went down for oatmeal one morning, shared testimonies of God in our own lives and as Syndy’s sister, Sy heard it, Sy was ready to receive the gospel and be born again.

Sy received deliverance, healing of the heart and decided to be baptized into Jesus Christ!

Her sister, Syndy, had been praying and setting the example of Christ with her life, and lo and behold our delay was turned into an answered prayer for Syndy and her sister, Sy!

Maybe things aren’t going as planned! Maybe you are trying to figure out why nothing seems to be going right. Be encouraged, my friend! God is at work in your delay. Instead of focusing on your problems or trying to make things happen, ask God how he wants to use your delay. Make yourself available to God and lay down your plans. You will be surprised how he will use you. Let him use this pit stop in your journey. You never know who is ready to drink from His living water.
