The Open Door

My husband and I have been without a car many times and there is always an adventure it leads us to. In this photo we were on a sweaty walk in Florida without a car and walked around this neighborhood trying to find a way to get to target and waiting on God for what was next for us. Look at this regal imagery of a lion at the gate. We were surprised to find this beautiful mansion on our walk and I Thought it was a great spot for the photo but now looking back it represents so much more.   

We were so rich, we had so much wealth developing inside of us in that time and it wasn’t by any means of money or fame or power. We were rich in faith, praying and believing that God would guide us and direct our path of where we needed to go.   

Whenever we are without, we pray more together, we cling more to God together, and we learn to trust God together more.  

God is not a God of lack, but he can use lack to get us to cling tightly to him and grow our faith.   

I really feel like I need to share this with many of you. The open door is coming and to not focus on how or when it will open. Focus on praying, seeking first his kingdom and His righteousness and everything you need will be added unto you.  

Focus on praying to know God   

And letting go of needing to know the details. Trials produce a gold that the world knows nothing about.   

It’s coming, but focus on

him and him alone.  

He holds the storehouse of heaven and knows exactly what you need before you even say a word.   

Don’t waste another moment looking at what you don’t have, but have a true relationship with Him. There's so many things to be grateful for if you stop complaining, go prayer walk and look at God.
