Purge Your Sins: God is Waiting to Bless You

If you're calling it a miracle, but you did it by yourself then that's not a miracle..it's pride and God doesn't get the glory, you do.

If you're calling it a miracle but you had to cut corners, tell a few white lies, and exaggerate your testimony to look good to others, it's pride, boasting about it, and then lying against His truth.

If you're calling it a miracle, but it put you in compromise, sin, or created idols above your worship to God, then it isn't a miracle from Him it's idolatry and you won't inherit God's kingdom if you stay that way.

God is calling his people to repentance. Repent for trying to create the miracle, Repent for not trusting Him for the miracle, repent for others needing to see "your" miracle so you can look great in the eyes of others, and Repent for doubting Him that He is able to do the miracle because He's about to do A MIRACLE.

You've been asking Him to do it His way and this is His response to you:

Repent and remove the unclean thing and He will respond. Remove the things that have taken His place and He will respond. Let go of the bitterness and ask Him to heal your broken heart. Let go of the pride that is telling you to just stay strong and keep it together. God opposes the proud, but he will show grace to you as you recognize your need for Him, especially in this hour.

Give Him any doubts in your mind. He is still the lord and He will lead you to where He has promised. Remove the things that put you in a place of not trusting God and not honoring Him with everything that you are. Get rid of excuses and ask Him to deliver you if there is confusion about what you need to get rid of. It's about to happen and your promised land is waiting. Purge the things that don't please Him and He will respond and bless what you couldn't bless on your own.

Jacob was given a word from God and He responded by throwing out the idols that crept in, the worldly mindsets, and buried it once and for all. If things have crept into your life it's time to bury it. If you buried it in baptism, but you picked it back up, repent fully and he will forgive. If you never buried your old life when you got baptized, it's time to get in that water and get rid of it once and for all. The new life is waiting and there's a promise God wants to fulfill on the other side of it.

You keep asking God to bless, but God can't bless the blatant sin that He has asked you to come out of.

Genesis 35

35 Then God said to Jacob, “Go up to Bethel and settle there, and build an altar there to God, who appeared to you when you were fleeing from your brother Esau.”

2 So Jacob said to his household and to all who were with him, “Get rid of the foreign gods you have with you, and purify yourselves and change your clothes. 3 Then come, let us go up to Bethel, where I will build an altar to God, who answered me in the day of my distress and who has been with me wherever I have gone.” 4 So they gave Jacob all the foreign gods they had and the rings in their ears, and Jacob buried them under the oak at Shechem. 5 Then they set out, and the terror of God fell on the towns all around them so that no one pursued them.

2 Cor 6:What agreement can exist between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be My people.” 17“Therefore come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive

you.” 18 And: “I will be a Father to you, and you will be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”…

Romans 6:4

We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.
